An independent radio lifer, I have been on the air in some capacity since 1993. After stumbling across CHIRP feeding a cranky baby (who is now an adult), I found my hearth and a place for my long history of ramblings (though connected, and with results!). "THE RIFF HYPNOTIC" is an accumulation of these years & years of experience and brain farts. I describe the show as "something old, something new, something borrow, something you'll probably hate, but maybe not". Join him! In college, worked at a radio station that got Big Star back together which is something 18-21 year olds should have no possibility in doing. Been doing community and independent radio ever since. Worked at and for various labels, big and small, sound designed & was designed by sound. Been in some decent bands, act on occassion. Lost my voice, re-found it, and now live in the moment of having it. Morbid fun fact: I was on the air when both Kurt Cobain & Prince were discovered passed away and had to announce both.
