I started my radio career by imitating the Chicago White Sox broadcast team in the living room, to my mom's simultaneous delight and annoyance. My regular DJ experience started at Bradley University, where I was lucky enough to get a two-hour slot on Sunday nights! I held that down for four years, playing everything I could get my hands on in the studio (and even inviting some musical guests in!) After 10 years of volunteering at CHIRP, I'm finally a DJ, spinning the tunes I discovered in a life of raiding my mom's records, playing trombone for 20-plus years and never taking my headphones off unless it's an emergency.
